Boys'Day – Boys' Future Day in Rhineland-Palatinate
The Boys' Future Day was created as a counterpart to the Girls' Future Day and has been a nationwide day of action since 2010. On this day, boys and young men can try their hand at professions that are predominantly occupied by women, far away from clichés. The aim is to make occupational fields, such as care and health or education, known to the male sex and to reduce existing inhibition thresholds. In workshops, participants are also enabled to question role models and to acquire key competencies, such as the ability to work in a team.
Girls'Day – Girls' Future Day in Rhineland-Palatinate
Similar to the Boys' Future Day, the Girls' Future Day also presents numerous professions and orientation offers for girls and young women, which are usually shaped by men. For example, girls can explore areas such as IT, crafts, natural sciences and technology. Participation in Girls'Day is open to all students from the 5th grade. As the largest career orientation project, the Girls' Future Day has existed since 2001.
