Advancement bonus I - apply for funding after successful further vocational training.

You can apply for the Upgrading Bonus I by post or digitally at your local Chamber of Crafts, Chamber of Industry and Commerce or Chamber of Agriculture. You will receive the application forms from there.

The Chamber will check your application and, if it is successful, will transfer the Upgrading Bonus I of 2,000 euros to the account specified when you submitted your application.

Please contact your local Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Chamber of Crafts or Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Agriculture.

• Degree from a Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Crafts, Chamber of Industry and Commerce or Chamber of Agriculture
• Main residence or place of employment in Rhineland-Palatinate at the time of the examination assessment
• Application within 4 months of the examination date
• For examinations outside of RLP: Residence and place of employment in RLP, application within 12 months
• No use of comparable benefits in other federal states
• Qualification at DQR level 6 or 7

• Master craftsman's certificate, specialist certificate, comparable professional certificates
• Application for advancement bonus
• Employer certificate
• Extended registration certificate

Legal action is excluded as this is a voluntary benefit provided by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. For information on how to appeal, please refer to the decision of the responsible chamber.

The promotion bonus I is a voluntary support from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. There is no legal entitlement to the payment. Whether the bonus is granted is decided by the responsible office - depending on the requirements and the available budget funds.
