The free movement of workers is one of the fundamental freedoms of the EU. As a national of an EU member state, including Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, you have the right to freely chooseyour workplacewithin these states. You do notneed a work permit. You have the same access to employment in any other of the aforementioned states as nationals of that state. This means that you and your family members have a right of residencethere to pursue your employment. As a national of one of the above-mentioned states, you may also enter another member state and stay there to look for work. However, the right to freedom of movement to look for work only exists for a period of up to 6 months and beyond that only as long as you can prove that you are still looking for work and have a reasonable prospect of being hired in accordance with Section 2 (2) No. 1a of the Freedom of Movement Act/EU.
