Housing promotion: Applying for funding for rental housing with occupancy commitment

The state of Rhineland-Palatinate offers a social rental housing subsidy to support households in the state that are dependent on public assistance in providing adequate housing.

The rental housing subsidy is aimed at interested parties who are willing to provide rental housing, particularly to low-income households. For all rental housing subsidy programs offered here, the recipient assumes obligations in return for the subsidies, in particular occupancy and rent commitments. They undertake to rent only to households that meet the specified income limits and not to charge more than the agreed rent, which is regularly below the market rent level.
