Apply for exemption from the obligation to transfer biowaste
Source: Serviceportal Rheinland-PfalzMost of the organic waste produced in private households is easily compostable. If you have a garden on your property, you can compost your kitchen, garden and green waste yourself in your own garden and then use it as a high-quality organic fertilizer for your garden in a proper and harmless way. This year-round recycling through home composting generally does not incur any additional costs.
If you have an obligation to dispose of organic waste or an obligation to connect and use the organic waste garbage can (mandatory organic waste garbage can), you can apply for exemption from this obligation if you compost and recycle your organic waste yourself all year round.
