Application for the issue of a replacement certificate for a firearms possession card for seriously endangered public officials for the acquisition and possession of firearms

Persons who are at considerable risk due to the sovereign tasks they perform for the federal government or a federal state shall be issued a certificate of entitlement to acquire and possess weapons or ammunition and a certificate to carry these weapons instead of a weapons possession card, a weapons license or an exemption permit pursuant to Section 42 (2). The certificate is issued by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and for Home Affairs or a body designated by it for federal sovereigns. If you require a replacement certificate, you must apply for one from the competent authority.

This Act shall not apply to officials of other states who are equipped with weapons or ammunition for official purposes if the officials are acting within the scope of application of this Act within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement or on the basis of a request or a general or individual consent issued by a competent domestic authority or agency and the intergovernmental agreement, the request or the consent does not stipulate otherwise.
