Integration courses for ethnic German repatriates
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe Federal Office for Migration and Refugees offers ethnic German repatriates uniform integration courses throughout Germany. The basic structure of the courses consists of two parts:
- Basic and advanced language course with 300 lessons each
- Orientation course with 60 lessons to impart knowledge of the legal system, culture and history in Germany
Integration courses for special target groups have a different structure (900 or 400 hours of language teaching, intensive course according to § 13 of the Integration Course Ordinance (IntV)).
You can prove your successful participation with an examination for the certificate German (corresponds to language level B1).
Preconditions
You are allowed to take part in an integration course if you are found to have deficits. This also applies to the husband or wife and the children who are included in the admission notice.
The Federal Office of Administration determines your right to participate in an integration course. You will usually receive the confirmation of eligibility after your entry together with the registration form.
