Services of the reception centre for asylum seekers

Asylum seekers and ethnic German repatriates are accommodated in the reception centre, cared for and, if necessary, distributed to the municipalities within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The stay in this facility should not exceed 6 months. Accommodation places are provided for the accommodation of foreign asylum seekers and reimbursement of costs is carried out in accordance with the State Reception Act.

• Notification of unaccompanied minor foreigners and submission of the guardianship application
• Health examinations
• Distribution of asylum seekers within and across countries
• Reimbursement of expenses
• Booking of illegally entered foreigners and their distribution
• Equipment with clothing, hygienic supplies, accommodation and meals
• Provision of emergency shelters
• school care, advice and help in special life situations
