Written application:

In response to your informal application, the Federal Office of Administration will consult the previous procedural files, display your application and decide on the application.

Online application:

Go to the Federal Portal website and complete the application form there electronically.
- Note: You will need your ID card with PIN number to use the online function.
Submit your application.
The BVA will check your application.

As the Federal Administrative Court has ruled that applications for certificates must be decided according to the law at the time of entry, applications are generally (over 99 percent) rejected.
