Youth falconry license - apply for a day hunting license for the first time

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it in and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth falconry hunting license.

The responsibility lies with the lower hunting authority.

• physical fitness
• Hunting liability insurance
• Proof of passing the falconry examination
• Possession of a youth hunting license issued in Germany or a special youth hunting license for falconers
• Consent of the legal guardian

• Identity card
• Hunting license or special hunting license for falconers or certificate of the hunter's examination or certificate of the special hunter's examination for falconers
• Certificate of the falconry examination

• Proof of statutory hunting liability insurance
• Consent of the person with custody

The day hunting licence is valid for 14 consecutive days.

• With a falconer hunting license, you may only hunt if accompanied by a custody with hunting experience or a supervised person with hunting experience commissioned in writing by your person(s) with custody.
