Foreigner Youth Hunting License - Have your day hunting license extended

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner youth hunting license.

You can renew your hunting license at the lower hunting authority that issued you the hunting license.

The responsibility is incumbent on the lower hunting authority.

• at least 16 and not yet 18 years old at the time of issue

• Physical aptitude
• Hunting liability insurance
• Youth hunting licence that has already been issued
• Consent of legal guardians

• German hunting license
• Hunting license of the home country
• If applicable, current photograph
• Proof of statutory hunting liability insurance
• Consent of the person with custody

The day hunting license is valid for 14 consecutive days.

The youth hunting licence only entitles you to hunt accompanied by a person with custody or a supervisor commissioned in writing by the person with custody. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.

The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in group hunts.
