Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzFor export to non-EU countries, animals must generally meet certain requirements of the country of destination and be accompanied by a health certificate in which compliance with the health requirements for export is confirmed by an official veterinarian or official veterinarian.
This applies in particular to mammals, birds, fish, but in some cases also to amphibians, reptiles, insects, arachnids, molluscs and other animals.
Animals that do not meet the health requirements may not be exported.
The same applies to movements between Member States of the European Union.
