Mining Museum

Mining museums represent the history of mining in a mining town or region. The exhibitions are usually also focused on individual raw materials that have been mined in the region (e.g. hard coal, ores, salt).

The museum's topics include the extraction of raw materials, but also the living and working conditions of miners, trade relations and other aspects relating to mining.
