Apply for replacement of damaged or destroyed aids

The German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the agricultural sector will cover the costs of repairing or replacing your medical aid on application.

Submit the application informally by post or upload the documents online via the SVLFG portal.

Application by post:

• Send the required documents to the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture, stating your insurance number.

Upload application:

• If necessary, register on the service portal of the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture. When you register, you will receive your personal access data by post.
• Log in to the service portal.
• Upload the required documents via the mailbox function and send them off.

Once the investigations have been completed, you will receive feedback on the assumption or reimbursement of costs by the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the agricultural sector.

The agricultural employers' liability insurance association will pay for your damaged or lost aid under the following conditions:

• There was an accident at work:
  • an external force acting on the person,
  • damaging,
  • temporary event
  • during an activity insured under agricultural accident insurance
• Your equipment was damaged or lost in the accident at work.
  • You do not necessarily have to have been using aids. For example, reading glasses carried in your breast pocket may have been damaged in the accident.
  • However, the aid must have been worn on the body as intended.
• There must be proof of the accident
  • for example, accident report by the employer

• Request
• Invoice for the damaged or lost aid
• Cost estimate for the new aid
• Invoice for the new aid or repair invoice
• Notification of the accident at work by the employer

There are no costs.
