Apply for funding from the ESF Plus program "WIR - Networks integrate refugees into the regional labor market"

The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) supports you in projects that promote the participation of refugees in the German labor market. This is done through the ESF Plus program "WIR - Netzwerke integrieren Geflüchtete in den regionalen Arbeitsmarkt" (hereinafter: WIR program).
The WIR program has the following target groups
- Refugees with a residence permit
- Persons with a residence permit
- Persons with a tolerated stay permit who are not subject to an absolute work ban
The aims of the support are
- the gradual and sustainable integration into work or training, the commencement of school attendance with the aim of catching up on a school-leaving qualification and the support of the transition from school to work for the target group;
- maintaining, increasing and restoring the employability of the target group
- the structural improvement of the target group's access to work and education.
You will also receive funding for
- digital contact and initial information and
- if necessary, referral advice for the target group, which is insufficiently reached by local services.
You will be funded as a project sponsor that is organized in cooperation or project associations (in a network).
Type and scope:
The funding is granted in the form of partial funding with grants. The funding rate is up to 90 percent of the total eligible expenditure with a maximum amount of EUR 4 million.
The duration of the projects is generally 4 years.
Applications are approved by the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Knappschaft-Bahn-See (DRV KBS). The DRV KBS has the following tasks
- informing the applicants and providing advice on funding,
- examine applications,
- approve and pay out grants and
- review projects.
