Report conclusion of the land lease agreement
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzAs the lessor of agricultural land, you must notify the competent authority of the conclusion of a land lease agreement. As a tenant, you can also notify the competent authority.
If the competent authority finds the following conditions during the inspection, it can object to and cancel the land lease agreement:
- the land lease agreement concluded leads to an unhealthy distribution of land, in particular an accumulation of land,
- this results in uneconomic fragmentation or
- the lease price is unreasonably high.
The landlord must notify the competent authority within one month of every land lease agreement concluded or amendment thereto. Land lease agreements may also be notified by the tenant, who is entitled to do so.
