Applying for a prostitution permit for a prostitution business

You submit the application for a substitution permit to the competent authority.

The competent authority checks the documents and carries out a background check on the person intended to act as a deputy. Their cooperation is required for this.

If the check is positive, the competent authority will issue the replacement permit.

• Valid permit or corresponding application ID for an online application in accordance with § 12 ProstSchG for the operation of a prostitution business
• Minimum age of 18 years for the person intended as a representative
• The person to be registered must agree to the background check for processing.

• If applicable, permission according to § 12 Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) of the operator of the prostitution business
• Surname and first name of the person to be checked.

Is based on the respective administrative fee schedule of the federal state or on the fee statutes of the authorities responsible under federal state law.

Before the prostitution business is operated by a proxy, you must have a corresponding permit. A timely application is required.

If the prostitution business is no longer operated by the person used as a proxy, you must notify the competent authority immediately

Appeal (appeal may be excluded depending on state law), administrative court action

For processing, the person to be reported must agree to the background check and cooperate

The person to be checked must complete the application section "Verification of the reliability of persons working in the prostitution trade".

The prerequisite for the granting of a prostitution permit remains the granting of a permit in accordance with Section 12 ProstSchG.

From an administrative point of view, it is possible to apply for a permit under Section 12 ProstSchG and a prostitution permit under Section 13 ProstSchG at the same time.
