Applying for approval for the replanting of vineyards

• Before planting a vineyard, submit an application for permission to plant vines.
• For the simplified procedure, it is sufficient for you to notify us of the uprooting and planting.
• After final processing, you will receive a notification from the competent authority.

You must have carried out the grubbing up of a vineyard.

• Application for authorization to replant vineyards
• Application to change the target area (in the case of an existing authorization)

You may only start planting start planting a vineyard once you have received approval. The exception to this is the clearing and planting of the same area, i.e. approval in a simplified procedure.

Timely notification of grubbing-up and planting in the change notification of the EU vineyard register is sufficient.

Planting without an existing decision leads to an unauthorized vineyard area. This is an administrative offense that can be punished.
