Health Care Professions Schools - Applying for State Recognition

As the sponsor of the school, you can apply for recognition in writing at the State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Supply Koblenz.

After the examination, you will receive a letter of recognition or rejection.

The responsibility lies with the State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Supply - Department "Health and Pharmacy".

Prerequisites for recognition are:

• The school meets the requirements of the respective professional law and the associated training and examination ordinance
• The school meets the requirements of the recognition criteria for the schools of the health professions.

• Excerpt from the commercial register and presentation of the articles of association (for legal entities)
• Cost calculation
• Certificates of qualification of the school management
• Qualifications of lecturers and honorary lecturers
• Current list of lecturers
• Presentation of a rental agreement or excerpt from the land register
• Submission of plans of the premises showing their size and intended use
• Submission of a list of existing furnishings and teaching materials as well as specialist literature accessible to pupils
• Presentation of an overall concept for school operations
• Presentation of a concept for practical training including cooperation agreements with other suitable institutions

in good time before the start of the first graduating class

• State Ordinance on Responsibilities in the Field of Health Professions (GesFBZuVO)
• State Act on Health Care Professions (GesBerG RP) and the respective occupational law as well as the Training and Examination Ordinance
• State Ordinance on the Fees of the Health Administration (Special Schedule of Fees)
