Report changes to the requirements for recognition as a body for the measurement of radon-222 activity concentration
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIn order to be recognized as a body for the measurement of radon-222 activity concentration at workplaces, you must meet certain requirements. If these requirements change, you must inform the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) immediately. This includes the following changes in particular:
- You use different measuring devices than those listed in the application
- You change the equipment or the procedures used
- the personnel responsible for the measurement changes
- the legal form of your organization changes
- Your organization changes its name
The BfS checks whether your recognition requirements are still fulfilled. If necessary, the BfS may request further evidence from you.
Once your changes have been checked, you will receive a notification of change or a letter of confirmation from the BfS.
If the BfS deems measuring equipment and procedures to be unsuitable in the recognition procedure, you may not provide or use them for measurements.
