Request approval for the introduction of a technical business plan at a regulated pension fund or approval for the amendment of a technical business plan

To apply electronically to BaFin for approval of the introduction or amendment of a business plan, proceed as follows:

• Go to BaFin's notification and publication platform (MVP Portal).
  • In order to be able to make submissions for the "Insurance Supervision" specialist procedure, you must first register in the MVP Portal and then log in with an application for the MVP specialist procedure.
  • Further information on using the MVP Portal can be found in the "Information sheet on the insurance supervision specialist procedure".
• Select the "Insurance supervision" specialist procedure and upload and send all the required documents.
• Upon receipt, BaFin will review your submission.
• You will receive notification of your application electronically or by post.

• You would like to change a technical business plan at your pension fund that had to be approved by the supervisory authority when it was introduced or you would like to introduce a new technical business plan at your regulated pension fund.
• Your pension fund is supervised by BaFin.

• Application for approval of the introduction or amendment of a technical business plan
• New or amended technical business plan

There is no deadline. The new or amended technical business plans may only be put into effect after approval.
