Apply for frequencies for experimental radio
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzTo test new technologies in telecommunications, you need frequencies in advance for test radio. You can apply for these from the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA).
This includes
- the development and testing of radio equipment,
- the use of radio equipment for specific research purposes and
- the testing of new operating procedures.
The BNetzA checks whether your experiments could interfere with other frequency uses listed in the Frequency Ordinance or in the frequency plan. If no interference is to be expected, you will be allocated the corresponding frequency ranges.
