If you, as an airport operator or security service provider, would like to recertify an approved instructor, you can apply for this informally and in writing to your responsible aviation security authority:
- First, notify the competent aviation security authority of the need to recertify the instructor and at the same time submit proof of the required training instruction.
- The aviation security authority accepts the documents and checks their content.
- If necessary, queries will be sent to you by e-mail.
- Before recertification, the responsible aviation security authority will carry out a teaching test with the instructor.
- Once recertification has been successfully completed, the recertification certificate will be issued.
- The recertification certificate and a notification are sent by post to the person to be recertified (the instructor).
- The aerodrome operator receives a copy of the certificate and a notification by post.
- The notification of fees is issued and sent by post to the aerodrome operator.
