Inter-company training Provision of information

The courses are planned and scheduled by the providers. If participation is mandatory, they invite the trainees to the courses and inform the companies about the course times.

If you are a training company, please contact the chamber responsible for you or, in the case of non-mandatory courses, the provider.

The Chamber of Crafts, in whose apprenticeship register the apprenticeship relationship is registered and entered, is responsible for the implementation of mandatory inter-company training courses.

• There is a training relationship with a corresponding training contract
• The training takes place in a recognized training occupation
• Appropriate courses are offered regionally or nationally in this training occupation
• The training regulations allow for inter-company training or make it mandatory

No documents are required for mandatory courses. The invitation is sent automatically.

The costs are borne by the training companies themselves and reduced by subsidies from the state and federal government.

The deadlines can be found in the registration conditions of the chambers of crafts and trades or the providers of inter-company training courses.

Participation in all prescribed compulsory courses is part of vocational training. Attending courses in the skilled trades provides good support for passing the journeyman or final examinations.

Training advice from the relevant authorities.

Only for apprenticeships in skilled trades: By registering the training contract with the Chamber of Skilled Crafts, the trainee's data is registered. This means that trainees are automatically invited to the courses required for them. The invitations are sent to the training company in good time.
