Report months spent abroad by employees to the statutory accident insurance
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe contributions for voluntary insurance abroad are levied separately from the contributions for domestic accident insurance. The number of months in which your employees work abroad forms the basis for the foreign insurance contributions. Any months commenced are calculated in full.
It can happen that an assignment abroad ends prematurely, but the employers' liability insurance association or the federal and railroad accident insurance does not find out about this. In order for the contributions to be calculated correctly, the Berufsgenossenschaft or the federal and state accident insurance institutions will ask your company whether the months abroad recorded are correct.
This gives your company the opportunity to correct the months abroad previously registered with the employers' liability insurance association or the Federal and Railway Accident Insurance Fund in good time.
