Conversion of former military apartments into owner-occupied condominiums
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIf you have decided to purchase a former military apartment and use it yourself, you can take advantage of state funding in the form of a non-refundable grant.
Who can receive funding?
- Prefers families with children, single mothers/fathers with children
- Subordinate families without children
Amount of funding:
- up to 256 euros, if the income of the purchaser is within the corresponding income limit of the Housing Promotion Act
- up to 103 euros, if the income of the purchaser is not more than 40% above the income limit of the Housing Promotion Act
per m² of eligible living space, but no more than a living space of 100 m².
Preconditions:
- Compliance with certain income limits
- Equity: 20% of the total costs (from three children / young married couples only 10%)
- 15-year occupancy commitment. If the apartment is sold before the end of this period, the subsidy must be repaid on a pro rata basis.
Hint:
There is no legal entitlement to funding.
