Report mining accidents in accordance with the Mining Ordinance on Documentation

You can report an industrial accident online via the "BergPass" platform or directly to your local mountain authority.
Report an industrial accident online report:
- Go to the "BergPass" online platform and register.
- To register, you will need a BundID and an identity card or residence permit with an active online ID function.
- Call up the application form and fill out the application completely and truthfully.
- Upload the required documents as a file and send the notification.
Submit an industrial accident directly:
- Contact your responsible mining authority and coordinate the required documents.
- Submit the notification and all required documents.
Further procedural steps:
The competent authority will check your details and the documents submitted. If any documents are missing, the authority will contact you.
Please contact the Rhineland-Palatinate State Office for Geology and Mining (LGB).
