Applications can only be submitted after a mandatory initial meeting with an accredited and certified start-up network.
- The start-up network will check the plausibility of the business plan/pitch deck and send you the application link if the result is positive.
- You can apply to the Business + Innovation Center Kaiserslautern GmbH, which accepts applications, using the application form.
The ISB (approval authority) is responsible for the decision on approval and all further processing, including amendment and revocation of the grant notification. This also includes the recovery and collection of the benefits to be reimbursed, including the determination and collection of the interest to be reimbursed.
- In your application, you must provide information on when and how much de minimis aid you have received in the current calendar year and in the two previous calendar years, regardless of who granted the aid.
- You must also state which applications for aid are currently pending. The information must be designated as subsidy-relevant within the meaning of Section 264 of the German Criminal Code. Enclose a "de minimis" certificate with the grant notification.
- This certificate must be kept by the company for ten years and submitted to the European Commission, the Federal Government, the state administration or the granting authority within one week or a longer period specified in the request.
- If the certificate is not submitted within the deadline, the condition for approval will no longer apply retroactively and the aid plus interest will be reclaimed.
- The certificate must be submitted in future applications as proof of past de minimis aid.
- The General Auxiliary Conditions for Grants for Project Funding (ANBestP - Part I Annex 3 to Section 44 (1) LHO of the VV-LHO), as amended, must be made an integral part of the grant notification. In deviation from point 1.4 of the ANBest-P, the grant can also be requested three months in advance. Interest will not be charged if the grant is not used immediately.
If no project progress is determined by the supervising start-up network, it will inform you of this in text form to the approval authority. The same applies if a founder leaves the project prematurely or your company as a whole is discontinued. In these cases, the approval authority will generally revoke the grant with effect from the time the event occurs
In the case of companies that have not yet been founded, the approval period does not begin until the company is founded, which must be completed within three months of approval. The funds can only be paid out after the corresponding proof has been submitted to the ISB.
An interim report - agreed with the start-up network - must be submitted halfway through the funding period.
Proof of use must be submitted to the ISB no later than two months after the end of the approval period.
- In deviation from point 7.2 of the ANBest-P, the proof of use consists of a factual report signed by the accredited start-up network
- This contains a description of the economic development of the company and its prospects and a confirmation from you that the funds granted were used economically and sparingly for the implementation of the start-up project.
