Apply for funding from the ESF Plus program "KOMPASS - Compact help for solo self-employed"
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) uses the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) to support solo self-employed people with further training and qualifications. As part of the ESF Plus federal program "KOMPASS (compact help for solo self-employed persons)", you can apply for a grant of up to 4,500 euros for qualifications as a solo self-employed person.
In order to receive the grant, you as a solo self-employed person must first have a free initial consultation with a contact point. You will then receive a qualification voucher for the qualification measure. Once the qualification cheque has been issued, you have 6 months to carry out and complete your qualification.
Participation requirements
You will receive funding as a solo self-employed person if you
- work with a maximum of one full-time equivalent employee,
- work as your main source of income (generate at least 51 percent of your income) and
- have been on the market for at least 2 years.
Type and scope
You can receive a grant of up to 4,500 euros for further training. The further training must comprise at least 20 hours and meet certain quality requirements. You can receive 1 qualification voucher within 12 months.
Contact points
Contact points will be set up to provide comprehensive and low-threshold access to the "KOMPASS" program for solo self-employed persons. There is an initial invitation to tender for the establishment of contact points that regulate access to the program.
You are eligible to apply for the sponsorship of a contact point as a
- a legal entity under private or public law or a partnership with legal capacity
- a partnership with legal capacity that can prove its suitability in accordance with the criteria specified in the funding guidelines
The German Pension Insurance Knappschaft-Bahn-See (DRV KBS) approves the applications of the sponsors.
