Report the commercial operation of public telecommunications networks or the commercial provision of publicly accessible telecommunications services
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIf you commercially operate a public telecommunications network and/or provide publicly accessible telecommunications services, you must report this to the Federal Network Agency. You must report the commencement, changes and termination of your activities as well as changes to your company, such as name, address or legal form.
The Federal Network Agency regularly publishes a list of registered companies. It contains the names and addresses of the companies as well as a brief description.
The obligation to register gives the Federal Network Agency an overview of the entire telecommunications market. This helps it to assess competition and, if necessary, to intervene in the markets in a regulatory manner.
