Would you like to conduct practical examinations for the acquisition of licences or ratings as part of training at a training organization (ATO) approved by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA)? Then you must be assigned to the examiner pool of the relevant ATO.

The pool of examiners is a list of examiners who are authorized to conduct practical examinations at an ATO. This list is updated daily.

Registration in the pool of examiners entitles you to conduct practical examinations to obtain

  • the commercial pilot license (CPL),
  • the license for pilots in multi-person flight crews (MPL),
  • an instrument rating (IR).

If you are registered in the examiner pool and your details change, you can apply to change or delete this registration.
