Submit maintenance concept for potentially explosive systems
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzPeriodic inspections of certain systems or components of systems in potentially explosive atmospheres may not be required if the employer has defined a maintenance concept as part of the risk assessment. This must ensure that a safe condition of the system is maintained and that explosion safety is guaranteed.
The suitability of the maintenance concept must be assessed as part of the inspection. The work and measures carried out on the system as part of the maintenance concept must be documented and presented to the authorities on request.
