Submit measurement report on individual measurements of air pollutants in medium-sized combustion plants
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIf you are the operator of a medium-sized combustion, gas turbine or internal combustion engine installation, you must, under certain conditions, have its pollutant emissions and exhaust gas loss checked by means of individual measurements.
You must have the measurements carried out by an accredited measuring institute or an expert. Only if you operate a combustion plant that does not require a permit and has a thermal output of less than 10 megawatts can you have the measurements carried out by a chimney sweep.
You must draw up a measurement report on the results of the measurements and send this immediately to the immission control authority responsible for you. If the measurements are carried out by a chimney sweep, you will receive a corresponding certificate from them, which you must submit to the authorities immediately.
