Apply to the Federal Railway Authority for the provision of an electronic file for inspection

You can apply for electronic file inspection via the online service, by e-mail, De-Mail or by post or fax.

Online application:

• Go to the EBA e-Service portal.
• Log in with your user data.
• If you do not yet have a user account for the e-Service portal, you will need to register once.
• The application wizard will guide you step by step through the required information. Submit the application online. The system will confirm receipt.
• The EBA will provide you with the requested files as PDF files in the e-Service portal, provided there are no legal reasons to the contrary.
• You can access the inspection folder for one month. You can also download the document during this time.

Request by e-mail, De-Mail or by post or fax:

• Write an informal e-mail or De-Mail to the EBA or send an informal letter, dated and signed if possible, by post or fax to the EBA.
• The EBA will provide you with the requested files as PDF files in the e-Service portal, provided there are no legal reasons to the contrary.
• You can access the inspection folder for one month. You can also download the document during this time.
• To do this, log in with your user data.
  • If you do not yet have a user account for the e-Service portal, you will need to register once.

• You are involved in proceedings or authorized to do so.
• Knowledge of the files is required to assert or defend your legal interests.

• Power of attorney, if applicable

You do not have to observe any deadlines.

You can lodge an appeal against the decision on the merits, but not against the refusal of access to the file.
