Apply for funding from the ESF Plus program "Shaping change in work in a social partnership: further training and promoting equality"
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzDemographic, digital and ecological change pose major challenges for the economy and the world of work, for companies and employees alike. For companies, this means
- secure and develop skilled workers,
- adapt qualifications to changing requirements and
- strengthen a sustainable HR policy and corporate culture in order to promote flexibility, gender equality, diversity and participation in the world of work.
This is where the funding guideline for the ESF Plus program (ESF social partner guideline) "Shaping change in work through social partnership: further training and promoting equality" comes in.
The ESF Social Partner Guideline is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS), the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA) and the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB).
Purpose and object:
By establishing sustainable further training structures in companies and strengthening the equal, livelihood-securing participation of women in the labor market, the innovation and competitiveness of companies is to be strengthened and the professional competence of employees is to be maintained and promoted. The involvement of the social partners is of particular importance.
Funding is provided for
Field of action 1: Promoting further training in times of change
- The establishment of a sustainable personnel development and further training structure and corporate culture that promotes participation,
- testing new forms of work and working time models
Field of action 2: Shaping equality
- Increasing the participation of women in the workforce in line with their qualifications and to secure their livelihoods
Field of action 3: Regional alliances to strengthen further training and/or gender equality in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- Establishing or supplementing regional networks for qualification and/or equality in SMEs to increase transparency, systematization and interlinking,
- the further development of regional offers for further training and/or equality for SMEs
Field of action 4: Model development of innovative approaches to strengthen further training and/or equality
- The establishment of sustainable further training structures in companies and/or to strengthen the equal, livelihood-securing participation of women in the labor market
Recipients of funding:
- Companies, in particular SMEs and social partners
Type and scope:
The funding is granted in the form of pro rata financing with grants. Depending on the field of action (see above), the funding rates range from up to 50% of the total expenditure to up to 80% of the total expenditure of the projects.
- Applications are approved by the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Knappschaft-Bahn-See (DRV KBS). The DRV KBS has the following tasks
- informing the applicants and providing advice on funding,
- examine applications,
- approve and pay out grants and
- review projects.
The duration of an individual project is usually up to 3 years. The standard duration of 3 years may not be exceeded when submitting an application and receiving initial approval.
The Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (f-bb) and the Bundesarbeitskreis Arbeit und Leben e. V. (Federal Working Group on Work and Life) have been commissioned with the management office. The tasks of the registry include
- Mobilizing and informing the social partners, companies and potential applicants,
- Advice as part of the expression of interest procedure,
- Preliminary examination of the expressions of interest,
- monitoring the content of program implementation and monitoring.
