Apply for funding from the ESF Plus "INQA Coaching" program
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in mastering the digital transformation. The INQA (New Quality of Work Initiative) coaching program exists for this purpose.
The program is aimed at
- companies that are looking for coaching,
- to organizations that coordinate and manage the coaching.
As a company, INQA coaching supports you in developing tailored solutions for digital transformation. The coaching aims to secure skilled workers and create an employee-oriented and sustainable corporate culture. As part of the consultancy, INQA-Coaching supports your company in setting up learning and experimentation spaces to test new ways of working.
The INQA-Coaching program has 3 program areas:
- INQA coaching centers (IBS)
- Coaching for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- Superordinate center INQA-Coaching (ÜZ)
INQA advisory centers (IBS):
The IBS provide administrative support for the coaching process. They ensure the quality and sustainability of the advice, provide program support and promote the program regionally.
Coaching for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs):
The consulting or coaching process has three stages and is geared towards the needs of your company.
- Your initial consultation takes place in an IBS. There it will be clarified whether you are eligible for funding. The IBS works with you to identify the specific need for operational change. Depending on your needs, the IBS can issue you with a consultancy cheque for INQA coaching or refer you to a regional offer.
- You can redeem the consulting voucher or CoachingScheck within 7 months. It enables you to receive a maximum of 12 days of coaching from authorized INQA coaches. The consultation includes an analysis of the company's strengths and weaknesses. You develop action targets and measures, which are then set out in a binding company action plan.
- 6 months after the coaching, a results meeting takes place at IBS. In this meeting, the measures taken are reviewed. Individual employees or (if available) the company interest group are involved. Finally, the IBS checks whether there is a need for further advice.
Superordinate INQA Coaching Center (ÜZ):
The superordinate INQA coaching program coordination center is intended to support the networking of the individual players in the program and with other programs and players. It also ensures and promotes the quality of the advice provided.
Type and scope
The funding is granted in the form of partial financing with subsidies. The grant amounts to up to 80 percent of the total expenditure in the SME and IBS field of action and 90 percent in the ÜZ field of action.
A project usually runs from the start of the program in spring 2023 until 31.12.2027. The earliest possible start date for projects (for IBS or ÜZ sponsors) is 01.02.2023. SMEs can expect the program to start in April 2023.
Applications will be approved by the German Pension Insurance Knappschaft-Bahn-See (DRV KBS). The DRV KBS has the following tasks
- informing applicants and advising them on funding,
- examine applications,
- approve and pay out grants and
- review projects.
As part of the European Social Fund (ESF), the INQA-Coaching program is the successor program to unternehmensWert:Mensch (uWM) plus of the 2014-2020 ESF funding period.
