Housing promotion: Housing construction Promotion of modernization of rental housing stock
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe state of Rhineland-Palatinate offers this subsidy as part of its social rental housing subsidy program, in particular to support the provision of housing for households that are unable to find adequate housing on the market.
The modernization subsidy is aimed at interested parties who are prepared to provide rental housing to households with incomes of up to 60% above the income limit of Section 13 (2) of the State Housing Subsidy Act (LWoFG).
For all rental housing subsidy programs offered here, the recipient assumes obligations in return for the subsidy funds, in particular occupancy and rent commitments. They undertake to rent only to households that meet the specified income limits.
Funding is granted for individual projects on the basis of the published funding programs, which conclusively define the funding requirements and conditions, by means of funding commitments in accordance with the available budget funds. Recipients of funding can be both domestic and foreign investors (e.g. companies, private individuals). Funding is available on equal terms to anyone who implements a structural modernization project described in the funding program and complies with the required occupancy and rental commitments.
The funding decision (funding approval) determines in particular the purpose of the funding, the amount and type of funding as well as the type and duration of the occupancy and rental commitments to be observed by the funding recipient.
Note: There is no legal entitlement to funding.
