Apply for a grant for a model project in political education

You must apply to the Federal Agency for Civic Education (BpB) for this grant for your model project.
Applications can be submitted by:
- Educational institutions,
- associations and
- other actors with a project idea in political education.
In the application for a grant, you must provide information on the following points, among others:
- Description and goals of your project
- planned financing and the share of your own funds
- planned start and duration of your project
You can submit your application on your own initiative and throughout the year, or you can apply specifically for a thematic call for proposals from the Federal Agency for Civic Education with your model project.
Please note that you must submit your application before the project begins. Model projects that are already underway will not receive funding.
After completion of your model project, you are required to submit a factual report and evidence of how the funding was used.
What is a model project?
Model projects are projects that are limited in time
- whose results are transferable to other educational institutions or funding areas
- and are intended to provide findings with regard to the development, testing, review, further development and transfer of methods and concepts.
- The funding is only valid for the period specified in the funding decision. Follow-up funding is not possible
You must submit your application for funding for your model project online or in writing to the BpB.
You can also submit the application as the authorized representative of your project sponsor. You will need an appropriate power of attorney for this.
